The inaugural release of the estate owned Main Ridge Block Chardonnay. The Main Ridge block was purchased by the Ross family in 2021, from 10 Minutes by Tractor. It adjoins the 10 Minutes by Tractor property, whom we have a friendly and collaborative relationship with. The chardonnay block, 3.2 acres, is medium density, with vines planted at 2.2m x 0.75m, at 6,060 vines per hectare. It is planted to Mendoza and 95 clone Chardonnay. 20% new oak and 30% malolactic fermentation.

A powerful and generous nose, with grapefruit, blood orange and flinty characters and classy oak. A commanding and powerful palate, there is nettle, fennel seeds and toasty oak. It has compelling acid which provides a long finish, and will form a backbone for a long life in bottle. It will cellar for a minimum of 10 years.
